Despite living in the middle of Pune and Lonavala, where life is no less than a developed city, the village of Lohgarh was not privileged enough to get an adequate water supply in their homes.

While the men of the family were busy farming on their plots in this scorching heat, the women and teenage girls would walk almost a mile every single day to quench their thirst. Our foundation reached out to the village and installed tap water systems in over 200 households across the village.
